Last week I was a busy baseball. The local Little Leagues were signing up young-guns to play ball, so I attended the registrations. What a great sight to see! I can see all of those kids in a Bombers uniform one day. I also got to attend a few events at the new Play and Trade. Friday I went to the ribbon cutting ceremony, and then Saturday was a big Madden tournament to get ready for the Super Bowl. This Play and Trade is ended and operated by some of the former football stars at Texas A&M! Also on Saturday I was at Post Oak Mall for the Kids Fair. I got to be around so many kids last week, it was so cool!

Movie Opening
Last Friday night I was at Premier Theaters in Bryan for the opening of Paul Blart: Mall Cop. I knew that this movie would be a big hit, and that if I were there I would see lots of friends. I made a new friend too, one of the stars of the movie. Raini Rodriguez, a Bryan native was at the theater on Friday night for the opening. In the movie, she plays Paul Blarts daughter. What a cool thing it must have been for there to be two celebrities at the theater in one night. Although it was chilly, it was still a good night.

Yesterday I attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for Aununcio's Digital Advertising. I did not know much about this company before I went, but now I will be looking out for the digital advertising around town. Everyone their was so nice, and I had a great time being at the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Reading!
Today, I went the the Bryan Public Library to read. One of the Bombshells went with me and helped me read. We read Valentines books. With school starting back this week, there was not many kids in the library today, but it was still fun to get to read. I'm always trying to get smarter to keep my edge on the other mascots in the TCL, especially now that I'm competing with a 5 Star General down in Victoria.

Lets get fit!
Yesterday I got to be apart of the ribbon cutting at Fitness Together in College Station. The place has been open for a while now, but they have not yet had a ribbon cutting. Yesterday was a great day to do it, the weather was magnificent, and they had some new things in the store that they could tell us about. The have a machine that will tell you what foods to shop for at the grocery store! I was glad to get to be apart of the ribbon cutting at Fitness Together.

Let the Holiday's Begin!!
Yesterday I made my rounds to three more schools. I saw friends at Mitchell, Neal, and Fannin. The campus of Mitchell Elementary was so nice, and everyone there was equally as nice. All the students were well behaved and happy to see me. While at Neal, I saw my friend Fred, he is one of our ticket takers at Bombers games. The Neal students were all ready to get out for the holidays. Then it was off to Fannin as they let out of school for the last time in 2008. Those students were excited to see me, but I think most of them had another jolly ole fella on their mind.

School, School, School
Today I visited 3 more Bryan ISD schools, Milam, Jones, and Carver. Everyone was so excited to see me! Some kids asked for my autograph at Jones, but I didn't have anything to sign with, or on...I guess they will just have to come out to a game to get one. I was at Milam and Jones at lunch time, but the kids had no problem taking a break from lunch to give me a high five. At Carver I made sure that the kids found their way to the bus, as we slapped hands on the way out. I'll make my way to a few more schools tomorrow to end the week.
